January 2024 Price Adjustments

As a dedicated piano tuner, my passion for ensuring the perfect harmony of each instrument has been the driving force behind my work. Over the years, I have had the privilege of fine-tuning countless pianos, creating a symphony of beautiful melodies for my clients. Today, I want to share with you an important decision I've made – the adjustment of my prices in line with inflation.

As we’ve all noticed over the last couple of years inflation has run rampant and the cost of living has increased to insane numbers. It’s been a difficult decision to make but ultimately I have to price myself to keep up with it.

Since I started Harmony Works in 2022, I aimed to price myself competitively against other local piano tuners, and my prices have not increased in those two years. As a matter of fact, in 2023 I dropped the price for more local clients and kept the price at £90 for those further afield. However, as my costs of living have increased, it’s been getting tighter and tighter to make ends meet.

It’s for this reason that I’ll be raising the prices in line with inflation from January, the details of which I will outline below.

Tuning - £95 (Inside Ring Road) - £107 (Outside Ring Road)

Pitch Raise - £131 (Inside Ring Road) - £143 (Outside Ring Road)

Concessions Available

I know that these price increases are a lot more, for what was already an expensive service and so that’s why I will be accepting offers for concessions. If you find that these prices are out of your budget but you still need your piano tuned then please send me a message and I’m sure we will be able to work something out. I would like for everybody to have a piano that plays well and sounds amazing, no matter your budget or piano! The cost of living crisis affects us all and I am disheartened that I have to increase prices, but unfortunately it has become necessary.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to send me a message.

Warm regards,

Jon
