My name’s Jon and I’m the founder and owner of Harmony Works, based in Oxford. After being involved in music for a long time I eventually found my way into piano tuning, something I found an interesting combination of the artistic and the technical.

I started working at Roberts Pianos, learning from the team of excellent technicians and tuners, getting to grips with how pianos are restored and traded. I spent 4 years mastering tuning and finding great satisfaction in bringing a piano into complete harmony with itself, with every tuning being completely unique to each piano I worked on.

Eventually I founded Harmony Works in 2021 and have enjoyed working on hundreds of pianos in the first year of business, as well as meeting piano owners from all walks of life.
